Viewsat VS2000 Xtreme	Built in Korea, the Viewsat Xtreme continues to show a true class of its own, and carries the viewsat reputation even further, with true hardware blind scan and a component out video output. The EPG is slick and extremely fast with a 160 MHz processor and 16MB of SD Ram. The VIewsat xtreme also comes with a built in Card Reader. Viewsat VS2000 Platinum Lite	The Viewsat Platinum Lite has no component output and software blind scan, Having a viewsat xtreme or platinum Lite  should not matter if you don't have a HD tv as you won't see any difference in picture quality if you don't have a HDTV. This popular model from viewsat also does not comes with a card reader , 160MHz processor and 8MB of ram making the Viewsat VS2000 Platinum a great buy and highly recommended unit. Viewsat VS2000 Ultra	The first manufacturer in the world to come out with a Free to air receiver that has a neat USB port in the front for easy updating of firmware what a difference. The best Electronic program guide that viewsat have ever created, double the memory of the VIewsat VS2000 Xtreme, faster processor clocking in at 200 Mhz. A better tuner and a component out. WOW this is a really nice receiver hands down. If your budget allows the Ultra is a clear winner
Coolsat 6000 Premium	Coolsat was the first to product a true EPG (Electronic Program Guide) the coolsat 6000 Premium is the 4th generation coolsat, the first coolsat was the coolsat plus, followed by the coolsat 4000 pro then the coolsat 5000 Platinum which is still being manufactured today due to its popularity. Coolsat has one of the best EPG's on the marketplace today, and the coolsat 6000 Premium has 32MB of SD Ram and blazing fast processor. With the coolsat name the coolsat 6000 Premium is an amazing edition to coolsat and we are proud to be an authorized distributor of coolsats.The coolsat 6000 Premium also has component out much the same as the viewsat xtreme.
Coolsat 5000 Platinum	Older model of the coolsat it has been discontinued and no longer made the nearest receiver to this is the coolsat 6000 with more memory or the coolsat 7000 micro PVR.
Coolsat 7000 Micro PVR	Viewsat have dominated the market since August 2006, and coolsat have seen a decline in sales since then, now coolsat have at long last created a model that has brought some customers back and gaining more sales due to the design of the coolsat 7000 Micro PVR, with a built in 1 gig memory right out of the box to record up to 45 minutes, also a USB port to connect an external USB hard drive and watch hours of video. Pansat 3500SD	Pansat has been in the FTA market for over 3 years now making the pansat name almost a household name in FTA, although in the past year it has lost much of its market share due to viewsat and coolsat due to the newer brands emerging with far superior program guides. That aside Pansat still remains as a popular brand and is also made in Korea. The Pansat 3500 has a unique feature of having an SD card slot allowing for software download via the SD card, no longer a need to disconnect from tv drag to PC and update, as well as the ability to view digital camera images and video media through the SD card slot as well as MP3 music. The pansat 3500sd has one of the best picture quality ever seen with a component out for HDTV's
Pansat 2700a	Well the Pansat lives on and on, the Pansat 2700a much the same as the Pansat 3500sd is made in Korea, and Pansat has been in FTA for a long time. This is the most basic model of the pansat, Pansat was more popular in 2003/2004 this model works and Pansat has stood the test of time in support. Although this is a basic model it is a named brand.
DreamBox DM500s	The DreamBox DM500s is in a class of its own, it has a PC Based motherboard and runs on the Linux operating system, with an Ethernet connection on the back, introduced and made in Germany the Dreambox is an excellent receiver for the true hobbyist. It is the only receiver that has not changed in so many years due to its open technology. Having a receiver that is true PC based makes it VERY powerful in an ever changing industry as it has the power to change with the times, other receiver manufacturers like Coolsat, Viewsat and Pansat change receivers to keep up, whilst the dreambox keeps the same model and is able to be programmed to take any changes better then any other receiver. However the Dreambox is NOT an easy receiver to configure as is the Coolsats, Viewsat and Pansat. For the real technical geek this is a wise choice. For the mainstream the ever popular Coolsat and VIewsat receivers are the ones of choice.
